The Unsung Heroes of D-Day

Experience stories of incredible people who assured the Allied victory during the biggest seaborne invasion in history.

This live talk covers a wide range of service personnel and civilians involved in Operation Overlord, whose stories just don’t get the limelight and never feature in Hollywood films.
Their roles, often behind the scenes, all weave together to make the Allied Invasion of Normandy possible, before their stories faded away into history – until now.
This talk features tales of heroism hinted at below as well as many more:
-A 15-year old on Omaha Beach
-The poor man who traffic manages D-Day
-The miracle of D-Day – Jacqueline Noel
-The airborne operation that nearly cost the whole invasion
