Free Introduction to Sound Design For Stage and Events

Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust warmly invite you to a free one hour presentation as part of their Arts Council programme of events which celebrate Buxton’s water.

’30 Years of Noise’ is an introduction to sound design for stage and events with Sound Designer Tom Hackley.  Tom will share the story of how he went from crawling under the floorboards of his local theatre to becoming an international sound designer.

The session will also include a 45 minute presentation about the world of sound design, how to tell a story through sound and deliver creative ideas through noise.

This will be followed by a Q&A session about audio for performance or installations.

To book a free place please contact Liz Mackenzie, the Development and Events Manager for The Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust on lmackenzie@buxtoncrescenttrust.org or call 01298 338441.
