The Third Annual Buxton Crescent Regency Ball takes place in the Assembly Rooms on Saturday, 28th September 2024.

The renowned Pemberley Players will be entertaining throughout the evening with lively Regency dance tunes, whilst Dance Master Reg Battle invites guests to take to the floor and learn some new moves.
 
  • Ticket includes afternoon dance workshop from 2pm-4pm
  • Style Workshop for Regency hairstyles and accessories advice 
  • Refreshments available from the Pump Room throughout the day

  • Charity raffle with many prizes to be won

The evening commences with a welcome drink under the ballroom’s ethereal crystal chandeliers, before the dance commences. Drinks are available all night from the Crescent Hotel Parlour Bar and an array of delicious Georgian themed desserts will be served at the interval.

A charity raffle will be drawn later on, with wonderful prizes donated by local businesses supporting the event. Capture special memories throughout the night with a professional portrait photographer, and sit for a portrait with Studio Marrit illustration. More music and dancing will follow with carriages at 11pm.

Expect feathers, fans, and fantastic frocks as the dress code is Regency costume, to add to the unique atmosphere of the occasion!

Staff and volunteers from the Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust have been working hard to provide a wonderful evening of Regency music and dancing, refreshments, and frivolity. We look forward to a very fun evening as we journey back to Buxton’s Georgian heyday with you.

Buxton Crescent is accessible by wheelchair and fitted with accessible lift and toilet facilities. The Pump Room is one-level Assistance dogs are welcome in Buxton Crescent and the Pump Room. We are working hard on having hearing loops available before the end of 2024.

The Pump Room is fitted with an accessible toilet.

Buxton Crescent has male, female and accessible toilets.

The Pavilion Gardens have public toilet facilities, just 5 minutes walk away.

Dogs are very welcome in the Pump Room and we always have complimentary dog treats at the Visitor Information desk.

Assistance dogs are allowed in the Buxton Crescent Experience and in the Assembly Rooms.

A variety of hot, cold and alcoholic drinks are usually available during events in the Pump Room.
