ReCraft – Swap, Share, Create

What is ReCraft?  

ReCraft is a community event that gives unwanted craft materials a second life. Bringing together crafters, makers, artists and hobbyists, ReCraft provides an opportunity to swap, share, donate and discover pre-loved craft supplies while reducing waste and inspiring creativity. 

Whether it’s fabric, yarn, paper, beads, paints, knitting needles, sewing notions, magazines or other creative resources, ReCraft helps useful materials stay in circulation and find a new home. 

ReCraft supports: 

• Sustainability and waste reduction 

• Community engagement 

• Creative wellbeing through craft demonstrations and have a go opportunities 

• Affordable access to crafting materials

Come along to ReCraft, a friendly community event where you can: 

• Swap unwanted craft materials 
• Meet fellow crafters and makers 

• Share skills and ideas 

• Help reduce waste and support sustainable crafting 

What Can You Bring? 

Examples include: 

• Fabric and sewing materials 

• Yarn and knitting supplies 

• Paper and card 

• Beads and jewellery-making materials 

• Paints and art supplies 

• Craft books and magazines 

• Tools and equipment in good condition 

What Can You Take Home? 

Anything that inspires your next creative project! 

Who Is It For? 

Everyone is welcome, from experienced makers to complete beginners curious about trying a new craft. 

Entry is £3, which entitles you to swap and take. If you don’t have anything to swap, £3 will allow you to take too!

12pm-1pm Slow Stitching Taster Session with Jane Kelly.
