A dramatic reading of letters and writings pertaining to the visits of Mary Queen of Scots to Buxton in the 16th century.

Join us in the Crescent Assembly Rooms for a new performance, a dramatic reading based on the original letters written between the Earl of Shrewsbury, Lord Burghley, Queen Elizabeth I, Mary Queen of Scots and others, pertaining to the visits of Mary to Buxton.

Expect fear, suspicion, compliments and complaints.

Essential Information

Pre-event drinks are available in the Pump Room from 6pm

This is an indoor, seated performance lasting approx. 40 minutes.

The Elizabethan portrait challenge artwork will also be on display in the room.
