Join us for the grand finale of Made in Buxton, a year-long community heritage project celebrating the people, industries, skills and stories that shaped our town.

This special exhibition showcases the creativity, research and community contributions gathered throughout the project, from traditional crafts and local memories to contemporary creative responses inspired by Buxton’s rich heritage of making. Discover the collaboratively stitched topographic map of Buxton, explore stories of quarrying, engineering, textiles and craftsmanship, and celebrate the achievements of the volunteers, artists, schools, community groups and residents who have helped bring Buxton’s heritage to life.

Everyone is welcome to explore this free exhibition and reflect on the town’s remarkable industrial and cultural history while celebrating the skills, creativity and community spirit that continue to shape Buxton today.
