Come and join us for a wonderful display of artwork created by local children and adults to mark the 450th anniversary of the first visit to Buxton of Mary Queen of Scots.
 
Celebrating this year’s Heritage Open Days theme, ‘Creativity Unwrapped’ an imaginative exhibition of portraits of Mary Queen of Scots, Queen Elizabeth I, George Talbot, Lord Burleigh or other notable Elizabethans will be displayed in the beautiful surroundings of Georgian Assembly Rooms of the Crescent building.

Portraits will be exhibited on Sunday 10th September in the Assembly Rooms 10:30-4pm.
