BUXTON PUMP ROOM TALK: TWO QUEENS AND A COUNTESS

With David Templeman

Buxton Pump Room Talk: Two Queens and a Countess

An in depth talk on the interaction between the 3 most colourful and charismatic women in Elizabethan History-Mary, Queen of Scots, Elizabeth I and Bess of Hardwick

The talk seeks out the intense rivalry, blazing ambitions and a win at all costs between them. There is jealousy, envy and lust for power as each one seeks to achieve their ultimate goal.

The theme is about 3 strong women as their story unfolds against a backdrop of suspicion, deceit and intrigue. This talk gives a unique insight into a predominantly man’s world entered into and conquered by these 3 powerful women
