October Half Term Trails and Crescent Crafting
Monday 25th - Wednesday 27th October. After a very (very) long time away, we're back (hopefully for good) with half term family activities with The Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust. The Pump Room, 10.30am - 1pm Drop in crafts. No need to book, just turn up and get involved with a fab range of Crescent Crafts exploring Buxton's fascinating History. With Halloween at the end of the week, expect some ghoulish and grizzly twists. The Buxton Crescent Visitor Experience 1030am-4pm Bookable tours - with added Assembly Rooms visit. If you want to make a day of it, book your ticket to visit the Buxton Crescent Visitor Experience , for a special family-themed tour of 9 fun and interactive rooms in the Crescent. As a special half term extra, included in the price of your ticket will be a tricky halloween trail and a visit to the glorious Assembly Rooms Ballroom. Meet Lady Bridgewater or Lord Berresford, and find out how this magnificent ballroom was the centre of Buxton's high society from the late 18th to mid 19th Century. If you complete the trail and return it to the Pump Room, collect a creepy prize! Come in fancy dress, pose for a Pump Room picture, and share on Facebook tagging @BuxtonCrescentHeritageExperiences to be in with a chance to win a prize for your family!
