The Pump Room’s marble interior offers a calm and inviting space to enjoy locally sourced refreshments, from Buxton Roastery coffee and Derbyshire Tea to delicious cakes from Jake’s Peak Bakes.
Our retail area is stocked with a curated range of gifts, souvenirs, artisan products, hand crafted gins, and a wide range of Buxton Brewery beers that celebrate the creativity of Buxton and the wider Peak District.
Families are also warmly welcomed, with children’s drawing activities available to keep younger visitors entertained. We’re dog friendly too and are able to welcome wheelchair users and most mobility scooters, making it an easy stop off for walkers exploring the town. A public toilet is also available on site, ensuring a comfortable and convenient visit for everyone.
With its unique architecture and licensed bar, the Pump Room is the perfect place to pause, browse and soak up the town’s spa heritage – inside and outside (weather permitting) – whether you are visiting for the first time or a local resident.
