Sadly, The new Visitor Experience will be closed until further notice. We will be monitoring the ongoing situation and making an announcement on our reopening as soon as we are able. For now, ticket sales are also paused until we are able to confirm a reopening date, and to ensure current ticket holders are able to reschedule their visits with us.
The town's Visitor Information Centre is located opposite The Crescent in the heart of Buxton. A natural starting-point for your visit to the town, it's a place to find inspiration, information and ideas for great experiences in the town, Peak District and High Peak. The Pump Room itself is also a stunning building, and an important part of Buxton's rich spa heritage.
The magnificent Assembly Room in The Crescent will open in 2021. Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust are planning a varied programme of open days, and events that will celebrate the Georgian and Victorian heritage and the town's spa history.
In line with latest Government guidance the Buxton Visitor Centre and new Buxton Crescent Visitor Experience will unfortunately remain closed until further government announcements. We will be back as soon as we are able, and we are looking forward to welcoming visitors to our Visitor Centre, special Crescent Experience, and the future events in the Assembly Rooms. Yours sincerely, Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust *updated 7th -January 2021
