Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust are currently looking to recruit new Trustees to support our existing team.
Our work ensures the Crescent buildings are accessible to all who live in and visit Buxton, by managing the Buxton Crescent Visitor Experience and the town’s Tourist Information Centre in the Pump Room. We also utilise the Crescent’s Georgian Assembly Rooms, to facilitate free access days and fundraising events. We run community events, deliver educational workshops for schools, and provide free and low-cost cultural activities. Working with partners and stakeholders we support Buxton’s visitor economy and strengthen pride of place for local people.
The Board of Trustees actively support our Chief Executive and the team, in delivering on the organisation’s commitments to its partners and funders, and in working to its core purpose and aims.
We are currently looking to recruit 2-3 new Trustees, in particular people who have experience and skills in the following key areas:
• Finance and Business planning
• HR and Team development skills
• Marketing and PR
Whilst experience in the above areas is desirable it is not essential, and we want to encourage applications from across all communities and attract applicants with varied skills and experience.
