Buxton Visitor Centre

The town's new Visitor Centre will provide you with inspiration, information and ideas for great experiences in the town, High Peak and Peak District. Our newly opened gift shop also has an array of locally sourced gifts and bespoke souvenirs.

Visiting us

Buxton Visitor Centre, Pump Room are located within walking distance of other attractions, shopping, bars, and restaurants.

Buxton Station, Buxton Market Place, Buxton Opera House, The University of Derby Campus and The Springs Shopping Centre are within 10 minutes walk.

Accessibility

The Pump Room is accessible by wheelchair and electric scooter. The Buxton Crescent Visitor Experience will be accessible by wheelchair
Assistance dogs are welcome in the Pump Room and Buxton Crescent Heritage Experience. Hearing Impairments-Induction loops are installed in The Pump Room and will be installed in The Buxton Crescent Heritage Experience

We are free to visit during opening hours.Families can book for the Crescent Visitor Experience and events in The Assembly Room.
