Choose the right level of support for you. Just like the orders of classical architecture, each has a vital role to play.
Becoming a Friend means making a regular donation to support BCHT’s charitable work. As a thank you, Friends receive benefits including discounts and free activities, with additional benefits at the higher donation levels.
What are the different Friends levels and benefits?
Doric – £50 a year or £5 a month
- Free tickets to BCHT community activities including Pitter Patter and Crafternoons – subject to availability and normal booking requirements .
- 15% off all purchases in the Pump Room Shop & Cafe
- 15% off BCHT ticketed events and Buxton Crescent Experience tickets
Ionic – £100 a year or £10 a month
- All Doric benefits
- Priority booking for specific named BCHT events, such as the Regency Ball.
- Invitations to twice-yearly Friends gathering, where you can hear our latest news and meet BCHT staff, volunteers and trustees.
- Events offering priority booking will be highlighted in the quarterly newsletter.
Corinthian – £250 a year or £25 a month
- All Doric and Ionic benefits
- Acknowledgement by name in our Impact Report if you would like this.
- One complimentary ticket per Friend to each talk hosted by BCHT in the Pump Room
Can other people in my household be included?
Instead, the named Friend can add members of their household at no additional cost. Household members receive the same benefits, although where a benefit provides a specific number of tickets, the ticket entitlement applies to the household as a whole. For example, Corinthian provides one complimentary ticket per household to each eligible BCHT – hosted Pump Room talk.

We have a range of opportunities for commercial sponsorship for ranging from individual events through to supporting our core products in the Buxton Crescent Experience, Pump Room and education strategy.
Corporate support starts form just £65 per year and comes with a range of benefits including free admission to the Crescent Experience and events for your team and stakeholders though to use of our facilities for your events.

Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust is a registered charity, and like many cultural organisations, we are finding it increasingly tough to sustain the services our community depends on. To continue delivering learning programmes, a comprehensive events programme and accessible heritage experiences, we must raise a minimum of £350,000 every year.
