Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust are delighted to be working with Buxton Opera House and their talented Young Company on a new play Written by Rob Young and directed by Kitty Randle, Deep tells the story of Jan, a Buxton teenager rejected by his peers and is unable to cope with his father’s illness.
Jan finds solace in a voice that speaks from the deep. The voice is kind, but is it a trap? Or psychosis? Or love? And how do you date a girl who lives underwater when you can’t swim? A performance about Buxton, for Buxton, performed by a local cast aged 16-30.
The premier will take place on Sunday 26 January at 7pm on the Buxton Opera House stage.
Deep is funded by Arts Council England. For more information please visit buxtoncrescentexperience.com/water-inspired-arts-council-programme/
